Hello. You’ve reached Ueno, a digital agency hell-bent on creating the world’s most beautiful digital products, brands, and experiences. We’re young-ish but maturing, small-ish but growing, and out of our fancy offices in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles and Reykjavík, we work with a bunch of companies you may have heard of, on projects you may have seen, and products you may have used.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you.
We need your help.
You see, we’re looking for a Strategy Director.
Someone who brings curiosity, empathy and insight to the table to help solve strategic challenges.
Someone who listens to the client and translates their needs into possible solutions.
Someone who believes that feedback goes both ways, and sees the value in both giving and taking it.
Someone who can see the forest and help our design teams pick which trees to focus on.
Someone who views strategic problem solving not as an ‘if’ but a ‘how.’
Someone who understands how the creative brain works, perhaps owns one themselves.
Someone who can consider the user’s voice, the client’s targets, and the team’s needs at once.
Someone who uses qualitative and quantitative research to gather well-rounded perspective.
Someone who speaks the same language as a CEO or founder, and understands the challenges of creating a business from the ground up.
Someone who can guide a project from start to finish, deftly pivoting when necessary.
Is this you? Don’t overthink it. Scroll down, get in touch, and tell us everything. Nothing bad will happen.
Small print: The position is based in San Francisco. Candidates must have the right to work in the United States for any employer. No recruiters, please. Ueno is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and even if the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance didn't exist, we'd still totally consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Still reading? Wow, you must be interested in the position!
Our bright and bustling office in Soma is a hotbed of creativity. We’re just down the street from Twitter, who for some reason still hasn’t asked us to work for them. What’s up with that?
No need to be formal. Just send us your links and we’ll be in touch.
