Visit Uenoland

It’s the place we always wanted to go to, but never found on any maps

Feb 26, 2019

Do you like laughing? Crying? Making thoughtful facial expressions? Meeting interesting people? Being met by interesting people?

Well then, we’ve got good news for you: Uenoland is on the horizon.

It’s the place we always wanted to visit but didn’t find on any maps. It’s the “conference” we always wanted to attend, but never saw anywhere. So we decided to make it ourselves, and now it’s all happening.

Uenoland is coming to a Brooklyn near you soon. The lovely A/D/O in Williamsburg, on May 2–4, 2019, to be specific.

Speakers and performers at Uenoland will be an eclectic and surprising mix of smart and funny people from different backgrounds and experiences. They’ll talk about the smart and funny things they’ve made, and how they’ve made them. Their stories will make us all better at what we do — at work and, more importantly, in life. We’ll start revealing who they are over the next couple of weeks.

But why? Why are we doing all this? A few reasons. We want to keep experimenting, evolving and trying new things. We believe creativity and inspiration are the most valuable thing humans have. Because it’s a fun, ambitious, slightly unexpected thing to do, and it has the potential to be amazing or fail terribly. In other words, an exciting place to be.

We hope to see you all there.
